Privacy Policy

Infruition · Last updated July 4, 2026

Infruition (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a fruit-picking guide published by Danny Chen. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contacts. The app itself does not gather personal information about you.

Two categories of data are handled:

Advertising

The app displays banner and occasional full-screen (interstitial) ads through Google AdMob. Where you permit it through the consent and tracking prompts described below, ads may be personalized based on your interests; otherwise you receive non-personalized ads based only on contextual information. Google may also use device identifiers for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting.

Google’s handling of advertising data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Consent & tracking

Where required by law (for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before personalized advertising or related data use. On iOS, the app also uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt to ask permission before using your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. If you decline either prompt, the app still works and simply shows non-personalized ads. You can change these choices at any time in your device’s Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and where offered from within the app.

Children’s privacy

The app is rated for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention & your choices

Your favorites stay on your device until you delete the app. You can reset your advertising identifier and review tracking permissions at any time using your device’s privacy settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising on iOS).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
